What's New for the 2024 Subaru Impreza?

If you have been waiting for the right time to buy your next Subaru, the 2024 Impreza may inspire you to move ahead with your purchase plans. The Impreza's sixth generation debuts in 2024. As part of this generational change, the hatchback will be the only body style. The exterior also displays the results of brilliant design updates on all sides. The grille has been expanded and has a sporty, matte black finish. The taillights are reshaped, and the back wheel arches are revamped.

Many other updates have been made to the 2024 Impreza that enhance its performance. The Premium and Limited trim levels are not offered in 2024, and the RS trim is introduced. The new trim has the same powertrain as you will find in the Crosstrek, a 182-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.5-liter system. For the other trims, the 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, 152-horsepower system remains. The five-speed manual transmission is deleted, but the continuously variable auto transmission remains. If you select the 2024 Impreza RS or Sport trim, your hatchback's performance will boost by steering-wheel paddle shifters and eight settings linked to a simulated manual drive mode. Across all of the 2024 Impreza's trims, the all-wheel drive system is boosted by active torque vectoring. In addition, the 2024 model year introduces upgraded structural rigidity and a new electronic steering system.

Several essential updates are also to the 2024 Impreza's safety capabilities and cabin features. The EyeSight safety suite has been upgraded to enhance visibility and to identify cyclists and pedestrians more successfully. In addition, the 8-inch display screen offered in 2023 has been enlarged to 11.2 inches and is now mounted vertically. The many other modern features in the 2023 Impreza carry up to the 2024 model year unchanged. Some of these are heated front seats, leather upholstery, keyless entry, a wireless hotspot, voice controls, and remote access for the auto climate control system.
